  One of my favorite places to eat dinner out. Tonight, I took my picky eating husband and he agreed the food was good. I've ordered the Fish Tacos (at the bar) on a busy Saturday night and the California Naked Bird (at a booth) on a semi-busy Sunday. Both meals were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, served quickly, and with a smile by the staff. Drinks refilled quickly. Check was given at the appropriate time. We'll be back with friends and family.

  The first time we went it was nice. Second time they couldn't be bothered to somply give us menus within 5 minutes of sitting down, even though the host said he would follow us to our table with menus. We left after the host and a waitress both passed us by without so much as eye contact. We took our business elsewhere.

  Restaurant and pub decor were nice and comfortable. Menu had a good variety, lots of tasty looking dishes. Husband's burger and our pretzel app were good.
  The only real issue was with my meal, but it was big enough and odd enough to knock off three stars. They initially brought me what was very obviously not my meal, set it down and walked away. Server came back after I didn't start eating and immediately explained my meal had been given to someone else. I got a very strong impression they were just hoping I wouldn't notice their mistake since she didn't even have to go check with the kitchen to see what had happened. They then asked if I wanted to keep the wrong meal, which I didn't...the person eating my meal and I had different taste, and it simply wasn't what I wanted or I would have ordered that. They then offered to remake the meal, which came out fine. It took so long though that my husband had completely finished his meal by the time my basic chicken dish was out. It took 1.5 hours to finish a meal with a quick app, only soda and water, and the two very basic main dishes.
  We got an apology from the server, a half hearted apology and short explanation from a manager who kept one eye on the football game while talking to us, and no offer to give us anything for our troubles and patience. To be fair we didn't ask for anything or make a fuss, but most places who care deeply about their customer service will at least throw in a dessert or a coupon, if not completely refunding dish they messed up on, to make up for their poor performance. Blackfinn obviously didn't mind doing so poorly on our order.

  I love working here and being with all the friendly staff, A lot of people think it's a seafood place because BlackFinn. Even though it's not. It's an american pub. With very good american dishes. We do serve seafood as well
